Merit-Based Scholarships
Awarded to students with outstanding academic performance in their previous qualification.
Awarded to students who perform exceptionally well in the institute's entrance examination.
Need-Based Scholarships
Provided to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to support their education.
Designed to support students who are the first in their family to pursue higher education.
Special Category Scholarships
Awarded to students with exceptional achievements in sports at state, national, or international level.
Provided to students with exceptional achievements in cultural activities at state, national, or international level.
Application Process
To apply for scholarships, follow these steps:
- Complete the scholarship application form available on the institute's website or at the admissions office.
- Submit the required supporting documents as specified for each scholarship category.
- Meet the application deadline as announced by the institute.
- Attend the scholarship interview if shortlisted (applicable for certain scholarships).
Required Documents
The following documents are generally required for scholarship applications:
- Completed scholarship application form
- Academic transcripts/mark sheets
- Income certificate (for need-based scholarships)
- Sports/cultural achievement certificates (for special category scholarships)
- Letter of recommendation (if applicable)
- Personal statement/essay (if applicable)
Scholarship Renewal
Most scholarships are renewable subject to the following conditions:
- Maintaining the required academic performance (typically a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or equivalent)
- Regular attendance (minimum 85%)
- Good conduct and adherence to the institute's code of conduct
- Annual renewal application submission
External Scholarships
In addition to the institute's scholarships, students are encouraged to explore external scholarship opportunities offered by government agencies, private organizations, and foundations.
The institute's scholarship cell provides guidance and support to students in identifying and applying for external scholarships.
